Music for Beginners (Composition)

This course can be used as a morning or afternoon session to a full days INSET or as a stand alone half day for CPD.  A full days course is also available.

Aimed at any KS2 teachers, NQT's, HLTA's and TA's with little or no musical experience or knowledge.  This half day course is the ideal opportunity to show how, with a few skills, you can get the children in your class or school to compose around almost any given theme or topic.  It will incorporate literacy, numeracy and art cross-curricular work.

Lasting approximately 3 hours including a short break, this none stressful course will use no standard musical notation, just words, numbers and graphics.  A perfect way to present your current topic to the class, or for use in whole school assembly.
